I’ve been rewriting and reorganizing more of the pages.
Now, you should be able to get through any page without the terrible “#” marking.
I’m currently rereading all my Clowes comics in preparation for rewriting his page.
Now, for those who might be wondering:
I’m reserving future additions to the “artist” list for those I consider to be “major” artists in the field, without regard to whether something was published in 2005, 1995, 1955, or 1925. On my “wish list” for future additions are Schulz, Herriman, Chester Brown, Dan Zettwoch, Jim Woodring, Art Spiegelman, Jeffrey Brown, and others. (I’ll try not to review anything that’s out of print or excessively hard to find.)
I’m not creating a full-service reviews site to talk about everything new & interesting (for that, try CBG or Comics Reporter), or review every minicomic that’s out there (try Optical Sloth or Poopsheet). Such a project is not within my financial means or available time. I would very quickly fall behind the tide of what’s published. (Notice that I haven’t even posted my FCBD review yet!) I’m also not reviewing other media like webcomics (like the astonishing Web Comics Review). My focus is printed comics by major artists about which I feel I have something to say.
However, all bets are off when it comes to this blog, which will include all sorts of paraphrenelia… whatever I’m thinking about on a given day.
